ABOUT
After a 23-year hiatus from the New Jersey Hardcore Scene, Fury of Five have returned in brutal fashion. With the original front line and a new drummer, they hit the stage in their hometown of Asbury Park, NJ in June of 2022 with a sold-out event.
Wasting no time, the band hit Landmine Studios with engineer/producer Len Carmichael to work on their next release.
Taking respect since 1994 and still relevant in the music scene today, the Fury of Five catalog is an arsenal of angry venom. From “No Reason to Smile”, “At War With The World” and “This Time It’s Personal” to the upcoming “Half Past Revenge”, this New Jersey hardcore outfit knows how to blend reality with metal, hip hop and attitude.
On March 3, 2023, the band released a 5 song EP titled “Half Past Revenge” with Upstate Records. With tracks like “Revenge Doesn’t Sleep” and “W.A.R.” (We Are Ready), Fury of Five are picking up right where they left off in 1998.
The Fury gang finished 2023 with a hip-hop remix, IYKYK, of their hard hitting track, Feel the Reign. Fury of Five recruited family and friends, Ant Money (E-Town Concrete), Shrine B (No Holds Barred), Mad Joe (Wisdom In Chains) as featured guest vocals and Fury of Five’s Jay Fury’s son, Ari Fury for the immediately memorable hook. Mark Aayu & Len Carmichael (Landmine Studios) collabbed and produced the backing beat to make IYKYK the grimey rap metal vibe that Fury of Five has been notorious for.
Now they are back with vengeance! Kicking off 2024 with their release "Blood Storm" featuring "Cold Day In Hell" with guest vocals by Irate's Phil Vibez and cover of thrash metal kings, Slayer's "Raining Blood” and bonus track, IYKYK.
Fury of Five are locked and loaded, ready to take on 2024 with an extensive tour schedule. Look for Fury coming to your city soon!
